These census books are either in alphabetical order by family name or have an index in the back.

Other Counties or Dates

1890 Census records were lost in a fire; no library has them.

1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930 Censuses for Carroll County are on microfilm in the Census microfilm cabinet. 

Microfilm census records are organized by county, then town or enumeration district. 

(Searching AncestryPlus is easier than looking through the microfilm).

Censuses for Georgia counties besides Carroll County are also on microfilm, from 1820 to 1930, except 1890. Records are organized by county, then town or enumeration district.  (Searching AncestryPlus is easier than looking through the microfilm).

Census records for 1940 will not be available until 2012, for privacy reasons. Census records for 1950 will be made available in 2022, and so on.
